Obituary of Otto Cerruti, Jr.

Otto Cerruti, Jr. (Uttie), 61 years old of Haledon, NJ passed away on on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital.  He was born December 16, 1959 in Paterson, NJ to Otto Cerruti and Jennie Rosalie Sturbout-Cerruti. 

Otto attended Manchester Regional High School.  Otto was a Licensed CDL Driver for RER Supply and Hinchman Concrete before a long term illness.  He was a member of Teamsters Local 560.  Otto enjoyed, motorcycles, fishing, all kinds of work projects, cooking, puzzles, watching car races and classic movies.  Most of all being with family and just socializing.  

Otto is survived by his sisters; Kathleen Cerruti-Zendaki (Sala deceased) and Joan Cerruti-Cardarelli (Arthur John), his nieces; Maryam Sala Zedaki-Taddeo (Gregg) and Jasmin Sala Zendaki, his nephews; Shams Alden Sala Zendaki and Omar Sala Alden Zendaki, his grand nephews; Gregory Richard Taddeo and Harrison Grant Taddeo, step-brothers; George J. Cahill, Paul W. Cahill, Frank L. Cahill and their families.  He was predeceased by his parents; Otto and Jennie Cerruti, his niece; Nadia Sala Zendaki, his step-mother; Olive H. Cahill-DePalo, his step-brothers; Thomas Moore and Edward Moore.  

Funeral Service will be held at DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1 PM.  Visititation is from 10 AM - 1 PM.  Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.  Otto was very kind, loving, thoughtful and hard worker who would help all.  Otto could repair and construct most everything.  He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.  May Otto rest in peace after his long illness.
